Vanessa Trump, girlfriend of Tiger Woods, took to social media for the first time since her partner’s recent drunk driving arrest, which involved a crash in Florida that flipped an expensive SUV.
In her post on Instagram, the former daughter-in-law of President Trump, Vanessa, made no reference to Woods. Instead, she shared moments from her daughter Kai Trump’s day at the Miami Open while the incident unfolded.
She reposted a photo featuring her 17-year-old daughter with youth golf professional Alan Kournikova and Jason Stacy, a coach for tennis player Aryna Sabalenka.
In another part of her Instagram story, there was a video where Kai engaged with fans during an “Ask Me Anything” session.
Vanessa, who is 48, divorced Donald Trump Jr. in 2018 and has five children with him. She has been in a relationship with Woods for over a year now. Their romance was publicly acknowledged last March, following rumors that had circulated in the weeks prior.
Reports indicated that neither Vanessa nor Kai were in Woods’ vehicle when it crashed near his Jupiter Island home. According to police, the accident happened when the SUV struck a utility truck that was towing a trailer, leading to the Land Rover flipping over.
Woods, who managed to get out of the wreckage uninjured, exhibited signs of being “lethargic” and was suspected of being under the influence of some sort of drug or narcotic. He faces charges for drunk driving, criminal damage to property, and refusing a legal test, having spent eight hours in jail following the incident.
This marks Woods’ second DUI arrest and his fourth public vehicle accident overall.
Interestingly, this unfortunate event occurred just days after his return to golf at the TGL Finals in Palm Beach, where Vanessa, Kai, and their other daughter Chloe were seen supporting him from the stands.
