The Department of Education has begun an investigation into school districts led by Democrats, alleging these districts have ignored sexual assault incidents involving illegal immigrants.
Education Secretary Linda McMahon addressed this matter in a post on X, mentioning that the department is “opening a new investigation in Fairfax County following accusations from 12 high school girls against an illegal immigrant for sexual assault.” She emphasized the need to hold Democrats accountable for promoting “radical transgender policies” within Virginia’s schools.
“The Trump Administration will continue to hold adults responsible for advancing radical transgender policies in schools that jeopardize student safety and well-being,” McMahon added.
A statement from the Department of Education indicated that “five school districts in Northern Virginia permit students to use restrooms and intimate facilities based on their self-identified ‘gender identity.'”
According to reports from female students, they observed male students inappropriately touching others and watching girls change in female locker rooms. Many expressed that this policy causes them to avoid using school restrooms due to feelings of unsafety and discomfort.
In a press release dated March 16, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mentioned that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had requested that 19-year-old Christopher Flores Ortiz, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, not be released. Flores Ortiz faces nine counts of assault and battery, accused of “sneaking up behind” a female student and “grabbing her between the legs” at the high school.
Additionally, registered sex offender Richard Cox, who identifies as a transgender woman, is reportedly involved in “two trials.” One of the charges against him stems from accusations of “possessing child pornography.”
The report noted that Cox was arrested after allegations that he had exposed himself and touched himself in girls’ locker rooms at Wakefield High School, Washington Liberty High School, Arlington Mill, and the Barcroft Sports and Fitness Center.
