Trump Optimistic About Ending Iran Conflict Soon

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump expressed his belief that the United States could conclude its military actions in Iran within the next two to three weeks. He suggested that he might “leave” the country by that timeframe.

“I had one goal: They don’t have nuclear weapons. That goal has been achieved,” Trump stated confidently. He added, “But we’re finishing the job. I think we’ll finish it probably within two weeks, maybe even in a few days. It’s also possible an agreement could be reached before that.”

He continued, emphasizing the extent of the impact the U.S. military presence has had on Iran: “We pulled them back. It’s going to take them 15 to 20 years to recover from what we did. They have no navy, no army, no air force, no communications, no leadership. You know, all their leadership is gone. So we’re looking at a regime change. We have a great new leadership.”

The military offensive against Iran began in coordination with Israel over a month ago.

Since then, fuel prices for Americans have seen significant spikes, with the national average for regular gasoline exceeding $4 as of April 1st.

President Trump is scheduled to deliver a national address on Wednesday night, potentially shedding more light on the situation. White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt informed the public via social media about the upcoming announcement, stating, “Tomorrow night at 9pm ET, President Trump will address the nation and provide an important update on Iran.”
