Dodgers Introduce Blue Uniforms for Road Games

This season, the Dodgers will literally embody the phrase “Boys in Blue.” On Thursday, the team revealed they are adding new blue uniforms to their regular road attire.

The fresh look sticks to the classic design, featuring the iconic cursive “Los Angeles” across the chest and a red number on the front. It’s a nod to tradition while introducing something new.

For the first time ever, the Dodgers will don blue uniforms on the road. While blue jerseys have made appearances at home before, they’ve been off the roster since the team swapped their original “Los Angeles Dodgers” City Connect jerseys for a set with a moon-inspired palette.

Up until now, Los Angeles typically alternated gray uniforms—some reading “Los Angeles,” others simply bearing “Dodgers”—for their away games. The new uniforms, however, boast gray accents along the sleeves and number outlines, giving them a slight twist.

Excitingly, the usual “LA” logo has been replaced with a cursive “Dodgers” logo on the sleeve, reflecting a fresh approach. Additionally, the Guggenheim sponsor patch will also be featured on the opposite sleeve.

Rumors about these blue jerseys have been circulating after some images surfaced online in recent weeks. Now that the announcement is official, fans are still waiting to hear when they will see the new uniforms hit the field.

The Dodgers kick off their first road trip of the season this Friday with a series against the Washington Nationals, so perhaps fans won’t have to wait long to see the new look in action.
