Woman Charged with Triple Homicide in Suburban Chicago
In late March, a 30-year-old woman from St. John, Indiana, was charged with allegedly killing a father of two during what was described as a surprise massage. The woman, Jenna Struble, is accused of fatally shooting 32-year-old Jacob Lambert, as well as his parents, Stacey Ford, 54, and Patrick Ford, 55. She faces nine counts of murder related to these incidents.
Reports indicate that Struble and Lambert began dating in 2020, but their relationship was tumultuous, characterized by breaks. They share two young children—a 4-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son.
According to court documents, on March 22, Struble invited Lambert to meet up, claiming it was for a back massage. However, prosecutors allege that she had premeditated the meeting with the intention to harm him.
Struble picked Lambert up late that night and after allegedly engaging in what seemed like a regular massage, prosecutors claim she reached under the passenger seat to retrieve a hidden Glock handgun. It’s reported that she pointed the gun at him for several minutes before shooting him in the head.
After the shooting, Struble reportedly lit a cigarette and described the scene in a way that suggested it was surreal—”like a movie,” she said, noting that there wasn’t much blood on her shirt afterward.
Subsequent details reveal that Struble drove to Lambert’s family home, where she unsuccessfully tried to unlock the door using his keys. When Patrick Ford answered her knock, Struble allegedly began shooting him through the door and continued inside to shoot Stacey Ford as well.
Prosecutors report that she shot Patrick Ford 17 times and Stacey Ford three times. Following the attacks, Struble returned home and called her sister, informing her of the events, prompting the sister to contact law enforcement.
When deputies responded to the scene, they found Patrick Forde deceased in the dining room and Stacey Ford near the front door. Lambert was discovered in a nearby vehicle.
Following the incident, Struble allegedly provided a police officer with a silenced Glock 19. Reports indicate she had purchased the firearm in December 2025, along with a suppressor. She had also made plans concerning the care of her children, indicating some level of forethought about her actions.
Documents suggest there was no clear motive for the murders aside from Struble’s dislike of Lambert’s demeanor and feeling overwhelmed by his parents. Investigators noted that Struble had been struggling with mental health issues in the past.
Struble, who had initially been scheduled to appear in court recently, now faces potential life imprisonment if convicted. The upcoming court date has been postponed, with no further information available at this time.
