Luxury Lifestyle Meets Legal Troubles
The grandniece of the infamous Iranian military leader General Qassem Soleimani was enjoying a lavish life in Los Angeles, filled with visits to popular hotspots, until her recent capture by ICE on Friday.
Salinasadat Hosseini, 25, along with her mother, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar, was taken into custody after the State Department revoked their green cards due to their connections with the Iranian regime, as announced by the Iranian government on Saturday.
Hosseini’s social media presence showcased her extravagant lifestyle, flaunting vacations in a country her mother referred to as “The Great Devil.” She posted pictures of herself on private jets, lounging on yachts, and dancing at music festivals, yet there was little indication of a traditional job.
Recent posts included images of her in Miami enjoying drinks and another occasion in Alaska where she posed in a bikini. She also attended an F-1 race in Las Vegas, capturing her time in the spotlight.
Hosseini’s outfits often featured form-fitting dresses, minimal bikinis, and skirts that were notably short. One striking image showed her in fishnet stockings and a revealing skirt, an ensemble that would certainly raise eyebrows back in Iran.
Having entered the U.S. on a student visa in 2015, Hosseini received her green card under the Biden administration in 2023. However, both she and her mother were arrested in Los Angeles, with the State Department citing Afshar’s unwavering support for Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, recognized as a terrorist organization.
