RNC Chair Joe Gruters: 'We Will Win Georgia'

Republican Strategy for Georgia’s Senate Seat

During a recent show, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Joe Gruters expressed determination to secure Georgia’s Senate seat through what he called “blocking and tackling.”

When discussing the party’s position in Georgia, Gruters emphasized his experience and mentioned that he’s “building a massive ground force” to ensure a Republican victory.

“Our approach is straightforward: win Georgia through the basics,” he stated, highlighting his extensive tenure as a chairman and how the average term lasts about 2.1 years. He believes that by focusing on essentials like voter registration and ensuring election integrity, they are making steady progress. “We work on this every day,” he added.

Gruters further clarified that they have the necessary resources, a compelling message, and the right outlook needed for success.

He also reminded listeners that President Trump had tasked him with one primary goal as RNC chairman: to win the midterm elections. “Winning a majority in both the House and Senate is crucial. We can’t afford to lose,” he reiterated, emphasizing the importance of being ready since Democrats will be extremely competitive.

“We’re committed to winning. This involves launching one of the strongest ground campaigns seen in midterm elections or any election, really,” he explained. “With a solid candidate and our messaging, we genuinely have a chance to go against the historical odds, especially in Georgia, as long as we stick to our plan,” he noted, adding that Trump aims to rally support in the state.

Gruters mentioned, “We’re prepared to put in the work because we view Georgia as a prime opportunity for a gain. Michigan and New Hampshire also look promising, but the Senate landscape favors us, so we intend to be proactive. Georgia is undeniably one of our top targets.”
