Mia Alario from Southern Hospitality is raising some questions about the timeline of West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s relationship. During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, she shared that Wilson had already been spending time with Batula during their date in September, even though the Summer House cast claims the couple’s romance started back in February.
“I met Amanda at Bravocon last November, and she mentioned she had a prearranged date at Wilson’s apartment,” Alario recounted on the show.
Reflecting on her experience, Alario said, “At that moment, I thought, ‘Oh, you’re such a good friend. What a fun time.'” She further revealed that Batula had given Wilson some “advice and tips” before their date.
“I was like, ma’am, did we get the same tip or something? I don’t get it,” she expressed, sounding puzzled.
Looking back, Alario acknowledged the situation as “messed up” and insisted she wanted no part of it moving forward. Although she admitted to having an enjoyable time with Wilson, she didn’t feel she knew his true character at the time.
Since Batula and Wilson revealed their relationship on March 31st, there has been rampant speculation about any potential cheating involved. On a recent podcast episode, Wilson stated that when they started dating, they were “all single” and that “there was no overlap.” He explained, “We realized in February that the situation might be a bit serious, and that’s when it all started. There’s nothing more to it than that.”
Interestingly, Wilson had dated Batula’s close friend Ciara Miller earlier in 2023, while Batula divorced her husband, Kyle Cook, in January after four years of marriage.
Co-star Jesse Solomon also shared his concerns during an appearance on WWHL. He noted instances that made him question the relationship, like a dinner in Miami with Batula and Wilson absent, and a day when he and Cook unexpectedly met Wilson and Batula after brunch.
In a previous conversation, Cook expressed to Page Six that he would find it “diabolical” if Wilson and Batula had an affair last summer, and he suggested that Batula clarify their relationship timeline at the upcoming “Summer House” reunion. “I hope I’m right that this is a recent reunion,” he added.
