TrumpCoin Conference Scheduled for Top Holders

The team behind the Donald Trump meme coin is once again hosting a gathering for top holders of the coin. Even if the excitement around these events has diminished a bit, the upcoming TrumpCoin conference might still attract those looking for a good deal.

Set for Saturday, April 25th, the conference and luncheon at Mar-a-Lago will primarily cater to those with a significant amount of $TRUMP coins, though the ticket prices will be notably lower this time. Participants will need a minimum quantity of memecoin to attend. In 2025, a dinner at a Virginia golf club reportedly cost around $55,000, based on analytics firm Nansen’s data. Nansen seems to be on the list of invitees for the conference, but it’s a little unclear how many TRUMP tokens it actually involves. At the last check, held tokens were valued at nearly $8,460.

Interestingly, despite the impending conference, the price of the memecoin has not seen any significant revival. On the day of the 2025 gathering, the trading value of TRUMP was approximately $14.67, contrasting with its issuance price of $2.87.

Many well-known figures from the crypto world are expected to attend, including Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood, Anchorage Digital CEO Nathan McCauley, and even Mike Tyson. The event organizers claim there will be an “important announcement” made during the conference.

One notable figure absent from the guest list is the Chinese-born billionaire Justin Sun, who has connections to President Trump’s crypto initiatives. His wallet reportedly holds around $5.3 million in TRUMP tokens. Recently, Sun has been in the news for suing World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency platform tied to Trump’s name, alleging fraud and serious misconduct.

The situation surrounding the president’s involvement with meme coins continues to raise concerns. Earlier this month, Senators Elizabeth Warren, Adam Schiff, and Richard Blumenthal sent a letter to Bill Zanker, Trump’s business partner in the meme coin venture. They raised questions about the ethics of using the presidency for personal benefit and asked for clarification regarding the conference by April 22. It’s unclear whether Zanker has responded to their request.

Although Trump’s name is listed among attendees at the conference, there is fine print indicating that he “may be unable to attend.” Reports suggest that the event isn’t firmly scheduled into Trump’s calendar, meaning he might choose to attend the White House Correspondents Association dinner instead. If he does miss the conference, there are mentions of a possible rescheduling. For those who aren’t agreeable to the terms, there’s an offer to receive a “Limited Edition TRUMP NFT” instead of meeting the president.
