Southwest Airlines flight attendant advocated for Trump's assassination in disturbing social media messages

Flight Attendant’s Disturbing Social Media Post

A Southwest Airlines flight attendant made a shocking comment regarding President Trump’s assassination on social media, shortly after a man breached security at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Michele Carpino posted an alarming message on Facebook just minutes after learning that Cole Allen had attempted an attack during the event last Saturday.

In her now-deleted post, Carpino expressed a disturbing sentiment: “Oh please sweet Jesus. We need more talented assassins!” This comment came after Allen was stopped by Secret Service agents.

Carpino’s online history includes several troubling anti-Trump messages. She once shared a post stating, “One day we will all wake up to the news of his death,” just days before the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Another message found on TikTok included the phrase “86 47,” a term associated with the Mafia’s methods for disposing of someone.

This led to the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey after he made a similar statement, which was deemed a violent threat against the president.

Carpino has also been vocal in critiquing MAGA supporters, referring to them derogatorily and posting offensive phrases directed at Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Some customers of Southwest Airlines expressed their discontent over Carpino’s remarks. One user announced they would cancel their travel plans, questioning the fairness of treatment from staff who hold such views. Others voiced their concerns, stating that they would hesitate to trust Carpino for their safety.

Carpino, who has been with Southwest Airlines for a decade, has not responded to inquiries regarding her remarks.

A spokesperson for Southwest Airlines acknowledged awareness of the situation and noted that such content does not align with the airline’s values, indicating they are addressing the issue.
