UFO Expert Jeremy Corbell Discusses Drones Amid Congressional Questions
Jeremy Corbell, an investigative journalist and co-host of the podcast “WEAPONIZED,” recently spoke with Peter Doocy about government secrets regarding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). He emphasized the significance of declassified footage, including a notable video from 2021 over Syria, which shows advanced aircraft exhibiting extraordinary speeds and acceleration. Corbell pointed out that both former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump have made vague remarks on this topic, and Congress is currently advocating for the release of 46 videos related to UAPs.
During an appearance on “The Sunday Briefing,” Corbell claimed that UAPs might outmaneuver U.S. military capabilities, framing this as a national security issue. He discussed how Congress has pressed the Pentagon to declassify these videos, which Corbell argues are crucial for understanding unmanned aerial vehicles and that the public should find them important as well.
“This is another data set of footage that the American public can see,” he stated. According to him, these unidentified machines fly through restricted airspace without restrictions, and the government has regarded them as serious threats for decades. “Now, people understand that UAPs are real,” he noted.
However, questions linger about who is responsible for these technologies and how they have managed to create such advanced crafts. “Who created a machine that could outperform our nation’s best fighter jets? That’s the question,” he pondered.
Corbell detailed the characteristics of these crafts, describing their “instantaneous movements,” which refer to abrupt speed changes without the typical transitional phases like acceleration or engine propulsion. He mentioned that such capabilities are beyond our current technological reach: “Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to make instantaneous movements. The idea of inertia effects and what happens is confusing to intelligence agencies.”
In response to one specific UAP incident recorded by a Reaper drone, he remarked on its unusual non-aerodynamic appearance and noted its superior maneuverability, suggesting that it exceeds that of military aircraft from the U.S., China, or Russia.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee’s Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets has been investigating this issue. Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida), who leads the task force, stated that unmanned aircraft in sensitive military airspace pose a risk to national security.
Corbell referred to the reality of UAPs as a “known secret,” asserting that within governmental circles, it’s widely acknowledged that these phenomena exist and sometimes evade detection. He expressed concern that they often hover over critical infrastructure in the United States.
