Georgia Incident Involving Illegal Alien and Fatal Accident
A tragic car accident in Georgia has resulted in charges against several illegal immigrants. The incident, linked to driving under the influence of alcohol, claimed the life of a father who was with his young child.
On May 1, an illegal alien from Colombia, named Davey Jonathan Janamejoy Jansasoy, was arrested. He faces serious charges including vehicular homicide, DUI, and driving without a license after the crash, which resulted in the death of a father. According to the Department of Homeland Security, Jansasoy violated immigration laws by entering the U.S. illegally in 2023 without any proper vetting.
ICE has reportedly placed a detainer on Jansasoy, instructing local authorities to keep them informed about his custody status.
The crash occurred when Jansasoy was driving a Ford Escape and veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Michael Sharp, a 47-year-old father of two.
Rescue teams had to extricate Sharp from his vehicle, and he was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not survive.
It’s reported that Jansasoy attempted to leave the hospital prematurely, possibly due to being informed about a potential deportation by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Given this behavior, authorities deemed him a flight risk and subsequently took him into custody.
As the investigation continues, Jansasoy may face additional charges related to this incident.
