Wrestling MVP launches podcast on BZZR platform through new collaboration

MVP Ventures into New Social Media Platform

MVP, known for his role with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) alongside stars Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin since their 2024 entry, is now channeling his talents onto a fresh social media platform.

He recently launched a podcast and show called “Marking Out with MVP & Dwayne Swayze,” set to debut on a platform named BZZR. Episodes will be available every Friday ahead of their official YouTube release. BZZR aims to connect sports fans while cutting through the usual chatter online.

MVP expressed optimism about this new venture in an interview. He mentioned that he hopes to expand the audience for his podcast. “This is a mutual partnership,” he noted. “BZZR offers a space for creators to discuss sports without the usual noise, which is exciting. My YouTube show has just celebrated its first anniversary, and teaming up with BZZR seems like a fantastic way to grow our audience together. I’m honored to contribute to wrestling discussions on this platform.”

The aesthetic of the show, he indicated, is inspired by wrestling. He envisions it with elements of a VIP lounge and a bootleg vibe, aiming for something unique.

Since launching their YouTube channel, MVP and Swayze have already gained over 10,000 subscribers. “It’s bizarre, really. When ‘MVP with Dwayne Swayze’ first started, I was thinking of it as purely a visual YouTube show,” he reflected. “The setup is crucial for me—the visuals matter because my brand is all about that luxury vibe.”

MVP recalled how people often referred to it as a podcast, and he corrected them, insisting it’s a YouTube show with an audio component. “The term ‘podcast’ seems outdated; it originated from the iPod, right? Sure, you can listen, but it’s meant to be watched,” he explained.

He praised BZZR for giving creators the chance to express themselves authentically. “It’s a unique platform that allows us to share our content free from corporate agendas,” he added. “Creators at various levels can be part of this, which is refreshing.”

All in all, MVP feels optimistic about the future and the platform’s potential to help him and others reach wider audiences in the sports community.
