Threat Against Ivanka Trump by Suspected Terrorist
A person believed to be linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has allegedly targeted Ivanka Trump for assassination as a means of avenging Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani’s death. Soleimani was killed in a U.S. drone strike authorized by then-President Donald Trump.
The suspect, Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, 32, reportedly expressed a desire to kill Ivanka and had detailed plans for her residence in Florida. He was arrested in Turkey and extradited to the U.S., with the announcement made on May 15, 2026.
Sources, including a former Iraqi embassy attaché, indicated that al-Saadi proclaimed a need for revenge against Trump’s family for Soleimani’s assassination. “He spoke of burning down Trump’s house, just like Trump burned down ours,” said Entifad Khanbal.
In a previous social media post, al-Saadi shared a photo of a map highlighting the Florida area where Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, have a home valued at $24 million. Alongside this, he wrote a threatening message in Arabic, warning that protection from the Secret Service would not prevent revenge. He communicated that they were observing and preparing, and that their retribution was coming soon.
Ivanka Trump, who converted to Orthodox Judaism before marrying Kushner, has faced this threat as part of a broader pattern of hostility towards Americans, particularly in relation to Soleimani’s past military actions that resulted in U.S. casualties.
The Justice Department has linked al-Saadi to various attacks targeting American interests and Jewish communities, including incidents in Europe. They described him as having coordinated attacks against Jews, including a synagogue bombing in Belgium and other foiled plans amidst escalating Middle Eastern tensions.
The pursuit of al-Saadi began after he allegedly called for attacks on Americans in revenge for Soleimani’s death, showcasing his commitment to his cause through social media posts, including images of violence and calls to action against perceived enemies.
Despite being accused as a terrorist, al-Saadi maintained an active social media presence, posting seemingly benign photos of himself near famous landmarks and engaging in typical leisure activities, which created a stark contrast to the serious allegations against him.
This complex scenario sheds light on the ongoing threats posed by individuals seeking revenge for geopolitical conflicts, highlighting the challenges authorities face in keeping individuals like Ivanka Trump safe.
