US Military Allegedly Launched More Missiles for Israel's Defense Than Its Own During Operation Epic Fury

Air Raid Sirens Sound in Israel After Missile Interception

On Sunday night, air raid sirens echoed across Israel following the interception of an Iranian ballistic missile by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), as reported on social media.

The missile launch was confirmed around 3:05 p.m. EDT. The IDF tweeted that a missile had been launched from Iran toward Israel and that their defense systems were engaged to neutralize the threat.

The IDF has confirmed a missile fired from Iran towards Israel. Defense systems are activated to thwart the threat.

Multiple waves of missiles were detected afterward, along with updates from Israeli operation centers indicating ongoing alerts. A third wave was also reported, and civilians were urged to adhere to instructions from the Home Front Command and to stay near their evacuation centers. The red alert sirens rang out in several regions of northern and central Israel.

In addition, missiles were reportedly fired by Iran toward Kuwait and Bahrain, but Israeli defenses are said to have intercepted all incoming threats.

The third wave of missiles has been detected. The public is encouraged to continue to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command and remain close to their evacuation centers.

Earlier that morning, the IDF announced an operation targeting a Hezbollah command center in Lebanon as a response to a rocket attack on a community in northern Israel. Iran has previously hinted at a potential retaliation over an attack aimed at an extremist group.

This latest operation against Hezbollah follows a series of incidents that escalated since March 2, when Iranian proxies launched rockets and drones into Israel in response to U.S. military actions.

In a related context, President Trump recently announced a ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran, right before Iran’s deadline to agree to terms passed. He commented on the situation, expressing that such attacks would complicate ongoing negotiations.

Trump mentioned, “We are very close. The agreement will be signed next Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.” Furthermore, it was reported that he urged Iran to return to the negotiating table.

As developments unfold, both U.S. Central Command and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have not yet provided comments on the situation.

This is breaking news and will be updated.
