Hear Mike Breen's thrilling commentary on OG Anunoby's memorable tip-in for the Knicks.

Last night was unforgettable, with incredible commentary filling the air as The Garden buzzed louder than ever.

Mike Breen, a Yonkers native who always dreamed of commentating for the Knicks during an NBA Finals game, solidified his status as a New York sports icon. Together with his radio team, Tyler Murray and Monica McNutt, they perfectly captured the excitement of OG Anunoby’s stunning last-minute performance.

“[Jalen] Branson really understands the moment,” Breen remarked while discussing what many consider the most significant play in Knicks history. ABC broadcasted the tense 107-106 victory on Wednesday night, as Breen exclaimed, “It’s good! It’s good! Only 1.2 seconds left! Knicks take the lead! OG Anunoby! The Garden can’t believe it.”

Murray took to a local radio channel, commenting on Anunoby’s play with a bit of cheek, showing his flair even to a blind audience.

“Anunoby passed the ball out of bounds, only to find Brunson at midcourt,” Murray recalled. “Brunson made a straight-on three but missed. Then, Anunoby tipped it in! He did it! Knicks are ahead!”

“Don’t count it out yet,” McNutt interjected, adding suspense to the broadcast.

“Out of nowhere, Anunoby made that play!” Murray exclaimed.

“Wow!” McNutt responded, emphasizing Anunoby’s seamless inbound pass that resulted in such a pivotal moment.

Mark Kestescher, alongside Doris Burke and PJ Carlesimo, was on ESPN’s national radio broadcast, underscoring the drama: “The Knicks are down by 29 players. Anunoby finds Brunson, who quickly attempts a three. It bounces off the rim, but wow—Anunoby tips it in with just 1.2 seconds left! The Garden is alive right now!”
