Lucas Gage is seriously considering leaving Hollywood behind for life on the ocean.
The actor, who openly admits to being a huge Bravo fan, shared with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that there’s one particular reality show he’s eager to join. And, honestly, his dedication is quite impressive.
“I want to jump on ‘Below Deck’ and work as a deckhand as soon as tomorrow,” Gage states. “I’m willing to risk it all.”
The “White Lotus” star already envisions the perfect team, just in case Bravo gives him a call.
“Me and Captain Sandy are just hanging out in the Mediterranean,” he joked about the star of “Below Deck Mediterranean,” Captain Sandy Yawn. “She runs a tight ship, you know.”
However, before he sets off on this maritime adventure, there’s one casting request he insists on.
“Bring Hannah back! [Ferrier]!” Gage declared excitedly, referencing the beloved Chief Stew who departed the show in 2020.
Truthfully, Gage isn’t satisfied with just a brief cameo from Ferrier, who is making a surprise return in the current season of “Below Deck Med.” He’s hoping for a full-time comeback.
“Let’s give her the whole deal!” he exclaimed.
Outside of his Bravo enthusiasm, Gage has a deep connection to pop music. He’s currently buzzing about the recent projects of comedian Meg Stalter, who has transitioned into a pop star.
“I need to connect her with her music right now, because she’s my girlfriend, Meg Stalter,” he said. “It’s fantastic—a hit! The production is beautiful and her voice is genuinely good.”
Gage recently caught one of Stalter’s performances at WeHo Pride in Los Angeles and was impressed by the crowd’s energy, especially during songs like “Prettiest Girl in America” and “Gay.”
“She absolutely crushed it,” he fondly remembers. “I’m really proud of her.”
His passion for pop music runs deep. He recalls how Ashlee Simpson’s earlier performances at WeHo Pride left a mark on him, crediting her album with influencing his childhood.
“Seeing Ashlee was surreal. Her album, *Autobiography*, changed my life back when I was a kid,” he reflected.
When discussing the legends of pop, there’s one name that stands out to him. Gage confidently claims, “Britney Spears is the blueprint for everything. She’s the best. I played ‘Lucky’ on repeat as a kid.”
As for his all-time favorite pop icons, he quickly lists a few staples.
“You have Britney, and then Christina [Aguilera], for sure. And I’m obsessed with Doja Cat’s new stuff right now,” he adds enthusiastically. “Kim Petras’ album? Yeah, it’s incredible!”
During his appearance on “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Gage also promoted his involvement with Gilead’s Healthy Sexual campaign, which encourages open conversations about sexual health.
“I’m really passionate about this partnership,” he explained. “It’s meaningful to be part of something I care about. It would be amazing if we could help end HIV in our generation.”
Gage shared that he sees this initiative as addressing a crucial educational gap he experienced growing up.
“It’s something I wish I had access to when I was younger, but thankfully now we have these resources,” he noted.
With his enthusiasm for cheerleading Hannah Ferrier’s return to Bravo, supporting Meg Stalter’s musical journey, or working to destigmatize sexual health, Gage isn’t one to shy away from advocating for what he cares about.
If Captain Sandy is on the lookout for new crew members, it sounds like Gage has his bags ready to go.
