Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan Shine at Austria World Summit
Arnold Schwarzenegger attracted attention on Tuesday as he joined his long-time girlfriend, Heather Milligan, in Vienna. The 78-year-old actor and former governor of California took the stage with 51-year-old Milligan during the Austria World Summit.
The couple posed for photos alongside notable figures such as former Vice President Kamala Harris, Austrian President Alexander van der Bellen, and Chancellor Christian Stocker.
Even though Schwarzenegger often makes red carpet appearances, his relationship with Milligan, which has lasted over a decade, has remained relatively private.
In 2025, they were seen together at an Oktoberfest celebration and at the premiere of Schwarzenegger’s Netflix series “Hoover.” Their latest appearance gave fans a rare look at Milligan, who first entered Schwarzenegger’s life not through Hollywood fame, but as a physical therapist.
Their meeting happened back in 2012, after Schwarzenegger underwent shoulder surgery while preparing for the film “Escape Plan.” Sylvester Stallone reportedly suggested Milligan for his recovery, highlighting her skills as a therapist.
Years later, Schwarzenegger openly praised Milligan, calling her an exceptional physical therapist. He emphasized that they first connected when she helped him with his shoulder, yet their relationship extends beyond that. According to him, she’s treated thousands of athletes and understands joint care extensively.
Before Milligan, Schwarzenegger was married to Maria Shriver for over 20 years, and they share four children: Katherine, Christina, Patrick, and Christopher. He is also the father of Joseph Baena from a previous relationship.
