ICE Arrests Criminal Illegal Immigrants Over Father’s Day Weekend
During the Father’s Day weekend, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) apprehended a number of illegal immigrants with previous convictions for violent offenses, such as attempted murder and child molestation, as reported by a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) press release.
DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Biss stated, “While families enjoyed Father’s Day weekend, ICE was diligently working to take attempted murderers, pedophiles, and other threats to public safety out of our communities.” She added that, “As families celebrated across the country, DHS remembered those whose lives have been forever impacted by violent acts committed by undocumented criminals.”
“Our aim is to remove criminals to avert needless tragedies for other families,” Biss emphasized. “ICE operates daily to advocate for victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens. These victims and their families are our motivation.”
Biss mentioned that President Donald Trump and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin strongly support the Angel family.
The release noted that ICE apprehended 15 illegal immigrants with criminal backgrounds. Among those arrested was Jose Francisco Amaya from Honduras, who had been convicted of attempted murder in Rutherford County, Tennessee.
ICE also detained Daniel Ornelas Garcia, a Mexican national, who had four convictions related to lewd acts with a child under 14 and harassment of children in Santa Clara, California.
Another individual, Carlos Leonardo Ruiz, from Mexico, was arrested for continuous sexual abuse of a child in Auburn, California.
ICE agents apprehended Felipe Roque Monje, who was found guilty of lewd acts with a child under 14 in Pomona, California. Osman López Manjira, also from Honduras, was arrested and had previous convictions for child fondling and indecent conduct in Bradenton, Florida.
Additionally, Abrai Niang from Sierra Leone was taken into custody, having faced convictions in Delaware and Ohio for rape, assault, and counterfeit possession.
Eduardo Arce-Aguilar, an illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested after being convicted of forcible sexual abuse in David County, Utah.
Federal agents also captured Alberto Garrido-Maurin from Cuba, who had a criminal history that included first-degree criminal sexual conduct, theft, and drug possession in Detroit, Michigan.
Kiet Trung Tran, a Vietnamese national, was detained due to an aggravated sexual assault conviction in Dallas County, Texas.
ICE agents arrested Kake Sisabat, an illegal from Laos with prior convictions for robbery and assault in St. Louis, Missouri.
Another arrest included Khan Loc Ngoc Pham, a Vietnamese individual with a long list of offenses, including forgery and robbery in Beverly Hills, California.
Detamonsaruk Ntavikun, also from Laos, faced charges of aggravated robbery and possession of a controlled substance in Tarrant County, Texas.
Pedro Morales Barrera, from Honduras, was arrested after being convicted in Puerto Rico for armed robbery and drug possession.
Lastly, Orlando Eugenio Parada-Mancia from El Salvador was apprehended for distributing fentanyl in Boston, Massachusetts.
ICE also made the arrest of Ramon Sanchez Morales, another Mexican national, who had a previous conviction for intent to distribute cocaine in Corpus Christi, Texas.
According to a DHS release, “While Americans celebrated Father’s Day, we honor the fathers, children, and spouses impacted by the violent acts of criminal illegal aliens.”
