Murder Investigation in Washington State Following Discovery of Human Remains

A missing persons case in Washington state has transitioned into a murder investigation after human remains were found on military property. This development resulted in the arrest of two individuals, one of whom is an active duty military member.

The inquiry began on June 12 when Tacoma police were alerted to the disappearance of Kayrick Bradley, a 28-year-old local resident who had last been seen on June 8, as per the Washington State Patrol’s report.

Investigating detectives soon uncovered that Bradley’s credit card was being used without authorization and identified the suspect behind it as Humberto Rodriguez Hernandez.

Lakewood Police officials disclosed that during questioning, Hernandez revealed details concerning a murder that took place on Southwest Addition Street in nearby Lakewood.

Detectives subsequently located the remains in a publicly accessible training area within Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) near Spanaway, Washington.

Authorities have stated that Hernandez was accompanied by another suspect, Aidy Casado Dominguez, who was later arrested near her residence.

Both suspects are facing murder charges and are currently detained at the Pierce County Jail. Joint Base Lewis-McChord has confirmed the remains’ discovery and acknowledged that one of the arrested individuals is an active member of the military stationed there.

The Army Criminal Investigation Division is collaborating closely with both the Tacoma and Lakewood Police Departments for further investigation.

Bradley’s remains were found amid inquiries about her disappearance, though formal identification and the cause of death are still pending an examination by the Pierce County Coroner’s Office. At this point, the precise date of the murder has not been determined.
