Cam Ward Wrecks The Miami-Florida State Hype Train, Declares For 2024 NFL Draft

Cam Ward is a little tricky about this…

The former Washington State University quarterback announced Monday in a social media video that he intends to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

After two successful campaigns with the Cougars; Ward He decided to enter the transfer portal and quickly became one of the most sought after “free agent” quarterbacks. But what's interesting is the fact that Ward has no intention of signing with an agent, at least for now, according to his father, Calvin Ward. ESPN. But with that said, he is scheduled to begin training for the draft on Tuesday.

Since Cam is not signed with an agent, Ward is left with the option of changing his mind and attending his senior year. The deadline for a final decision is Jan. 15, at which point he must submit paperwork to the NFL to officially declare for the draft on April 25.

Ward, who amassed an impressive 4,648 passing yards and 47 touchdowns for the Incarnate Ward FCS program in 2021, continued to shine at Washington State over the next two seasons. In the 2023 season, Ward finished eighth in the nation in passing yards with 3,735 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

Unnecessary hype…Needless to say, as a Keynes fan, I'm not satisfied.
