Former sports commentator turned DEI-supporting “social justice” author Jemele Hill blames “racism” for Gay's plight as unrepentant plagiarist Claudine Gay resigns as president of Harvard University After Hill declared that, “white people” are outraged. ”
Hill used her X account on Tuesday to slam the “racism” she claims is at the heart of the gay plagiarism scandal.
“When a white person is hired for any position, we automatically assume they are the most qualified person. When a black person is hired, we assume they got there because of affirmative action. But by the way, this doesn't mean they're less qualified. If affirmative action didn't exist, many white people would still deeply believe in their own superiority because that's what they were taught. gushed Hill in a Jan. 2 post.
“Given that Harvard University has had 30 presidents and that Claudine Gay is the only black president in its history, she had to be extremely qualified to hold that position,” Hill said. made the claim without any evidence.
“But don’t let me interfere with your racism,” she concluded dryly. “Please leave.”

Hill, of course giant booster So-called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices, or affirmative action on steroids. It is the idea that black people should be given opportunities simply because of their race, based on the assumption that all white people are inherently evil racists.
Even in the replies to the X post, Hill advocates for DEI employment.
If you refuse something based on your assumptions, you won't be able to accomplish much. Policies cannot undo hundreds of years of normalizing the idea that black people are inferior. You don't understand how often black people have their qualifications, knowledge, and qualifications questioned.

On the one hand, she wants to continue supporting DEI hiring, but she also wants to complain when unqualified DEI hires are fired for reasons other than racial factors. I also think so.
You can't campaign for DEI policies and be angry when you see someone get hired just because they meet DEI standards but aren't eligible for a certain job.
After all, gays aren't hurting anything. After all, she's not exactly losing her job. Harvard University announced that she would remain in the political science department and also maintain her exorbitant salary of $900,000 a year.
“Mr. Gay will now return to his position in the political science department and will maintain his salary at the same level as he did during his time as president.”
Gay, who has had an affair with his upward mobility, is relieved by his $900,000 annual salary and returns to a scholarship with little accomplishment or impact.https://t.co/cTafPDhChy
