TSA director arrested by US Customs and Border Protection in Florida

According to local reports, a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officer was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Maxine McManaman, TSA's Assistant Federal Security Director, was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Atlanta, Georgia on December 28th.

Port St. Lucie police said McManaman had an arrest warrant issued by the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office that states she and an alleged accomplice, Delroy Chambers Sr., have dementia. They claim they exploited their suffering relatives and forged documents in their names.

Florida authorities allege that the two forged signatures on a will that transferred ownership of real estate in a relative's name to them.

Police said the relatives whose properties were transferred to McManaman and Chambers were unable to sign the severance forms because they were found to have been in Atlanta on the listed dates.

Chambers was previously arrested in Port St. Lucie on Dec. 20 and charged with two counts of exploitation of an elderly or disabled adult, simple neglect and two counts of forgery. He was eventually released from prison.

Mr. McManaman is charged with a third-degree felony count of forgery.
