The U.S. Supreme Court has announced that it will hear President Donald Trump's 14th trial.th Amended appeal.

The former president's legal team has appealed to SCOTUS, asking the court to overturn a Colorado Supreme Court ruling that excluded the former president from the state's Republican primary ballot.

On December 19, the Colorado Supreme Court disqualified Trump from the state's primary ballot.th By a 4-3 decision.

They argued that Trump violated Article 3 of 14.th Amendments to charges of inciting the Jan. 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitolth2021. However, the President does not fall under the jurisdiction of Article 3 of 14 Articles.th Amendment because they are not “officers of the United States.”
