Donald Trump had a great night in Iowa.
He dominated the night and won by a wide margin.
One candidate dropped out and supported Donald Trump.
Vivek Ramaswamy has not raced since finishing fourth.
Vivek said President Trump has his full support.
The Associated Press reported:
Mr. Ramaswamy told supporters gathered at a Des Moines hotel that Mr. Trump “will have my full support to become president.”
Furthermore, he added: “And I think we're trying to do the right thing for this country. So I'm asking you to follow me in taking the America First movement to the next level.”
In his victory speech minutes earlier, President Trump said Ramaswamy had “done a hell of a job” on the campaign trail. Ramaswamy said she would likely appear with Trump in New Hampshire on Tuesday night and suggested that DeSantis and Haley should “follow suit” and drop out of the race.
During the campaign, Mr. Ramaswamy attacked most of his opponents, but praised Mr. Trump as “the best president of the 21st century.” But he argued that Republicans should choose “fresh legs” while still supporting America First.
