Nour News, an affiliate of Iran's top security agency, reported that the base attacked was in Pakistan's Balochistan province.

Pakistan's statement did not say where the incident occurred or the nature of the airspace violation, but said it had lodged a complaint with the Iranian government and that the head of Iran's mission in Islamabad had been summoned to the foreign ministry.
