Police are searching for the “Larry, Curly and Mo” trio involved in an armed robbery at a Texas fast food restaurant.
Just before 9 a.m. on New Year's Eve, police say masked suspects threatened employees at Popeyes Chicken in Beaumont, Texas with a handgun and demanded money.
Their slippery slope to a life of crime began with the fall of the first suspect. And then the second car tripped over him.
The third suspect looked like a rookie skater when he first took to the ice, but he regained his balance in time and avoided the heap of robbers.
The Beaumont Police Department entertained the public on social media by asking the public if they recognized “these three henchmen” seen at the beginning of surveillance video posted to Facebook coming and going in a blue car.
“Larry, Carly, and Moe (seen in the video below) slipped into Phelan's Popeye's with handguns and threatened employees and demanded money,” police said in a statement.
“I understand that they are masked, but they are wearing quite distinctive clothing.”
The suspects are then seen on video grabbing an unknown amount of money and taking off.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Beaumont Police at 409-832-1234 or Southeast Texas Crime Stoppers at 409-833-TIPS (8477).
