Trump warns Haley donors will be ‘permanently barred from the MAGA camp’

Former President Trump on Wednesday slammed Republican front-runner Nikki Haley, warning that anyone who contributes to her campaign will be “forever banned from the MAGA camp.”

“When I ran for office and won, I noticed that the losing candidates' donors immediately came to me and wanted to help. This is the norm in politics, but it no longer applies to me,” Trump wrote. post on his Truth Social platform.

“Anyone who has 'contributed' to Birdbrain will be banned from the MAGA camp forever from this moment on. We don't want them, we won't accept them, and we don't want them anymore because we put America first.” I'm going to do that too!'' Trump went on to nickname Haley “Birdbrain.”

Trump's direct threat to Haley's supporters signals a sharpening of her rhetoric as she seeks to force support from across the Republican Party.

Trump led Haley by 11 points in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary. That was a significant lead for the former U.N. ambassador, but it fell short of the overwhelming lead he had in many opinion polls in recent months.

In an election night speech on Tuesday, President Trump attacked Ms. Haley as she stood in front of two former primary opponents and pressured her to halt her campaign.

“I have to say, it was very funny. I said, 'What a win,' and at seven o'clock someone came running up to the stage all dressed up, and now they just walked up. “It was 2 p.m.,'' Trump said, mocking Haley's positive remarks to supporters after the race was declared in his favor.

“Let's not give someone a win when she had a very bad night. She had a very bad night,” President Trump said.

He then added that the former U.N. ambassador “cannot let the cow get away.”

Mr. Trump has won a number of high-profile endorsements in recent weeks, even from some members of Congress who had previously criticized him as unfit for office.

Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), and Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) all recently endorsed Trump. He also collaborated with former Republican leaders such as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott (RS.C.), biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum. He also received support from the opposition party.
