Exposed Stephen A. Smith’s bias NBAs Luka Doncic based race?

Is Stephen A. Smith racist?

According to Jason Whitlock, that’s exactly what the ESPN host is doing.

Smith and his colleagues shined when Joel Embiid dropped 70 points in a game. When Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks gave up 73 points in a game, Smith claimed it was just poor defense and bad opponents.

difference? A little over a week depending on the timing and the skin color of the players.

“This brother is phenomenal, probably the best big man in the game,” Smith told his colleagues about Embiid. “The message he sent was to aim for a championship. He’s not trying to mess up. He’s already won league MVP.”

As for Doncic’s coverage, Smith wasn’t too impressed.

“Atlanta Hawks, no wonder why you guys stink. Did you see how they defended last night? I mean, this is not Joel Embiid,” Smith says. “What happened last night in Atlanta was shameful.”

Smith isn’t too concerned about Doncic’s performance, but Whitlock isn’t too concerned about Smith’s performance.

“Anyone who’s been paying attention to the NBA knows what Luka Doncic has done and how the Atlanta Hawks have played and that’s the natural progression of this new NBA.” explains Whitlock.

“It’s a joke that Stephen A. is bringing up this Atlanta Hawks game and Luka Doncic by name,” he continued.

“Stephen A.’s contradictory messages here can only be precisely defined and explained in one direction: racism,” he added.
