A 13-year-old boy has been charged with fatally shooting a man who was blocking the aisle on a Denver public bus, police said Friday.

According to police, the boy, whose name has not been released because he is a juvenile, had a “verbal exchange” with the 60-year-old victim on a bus in southwest Denver on January 27, then shot him dead on the bus. It is said that he did.

The second person suffered minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.

The suspect was arrested Thursday and was being held pending investigation on suspicion of first-degree murder.
No other information has been released, and a probable cause statement has not been released because the suspect is a minor.
