The new agreement also called off Monday morning walkouts during a very busy Super Bowl week.
The Culinary Workers Union announced it has reached a tentative five-year contract with Four Queens, Golden Nugget, Binion’s, Fremont and Main Street for about 1,000 workers.
Meanwhile, the union on Sunday reached a tentative agreement with Downtown Grand, which represents about 200 workers.
The Las Vegas Strip’s three largest employers, MGM Resorts International, Caesar Entertainment and Wynn Resorts, reached agreements with their 40,000-member union last year, averting the possibility of a historic strike.
Since January, the union has concluded negotiations with most of the large properties in the Las Vegas area, including Circus Circus, Sahara Las Vegas, Strato, Circa Resort and downtown’s El Cortez.
Additionally, approximately 330,000 people are expected to visit Las Vegas this week for the Super Bowl, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The Super Bowl will be held at Allegiant Stadium, with two NFL teams competing against the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
