The wide-ranging interview lasted more than two hours. The interview with President Putin took place on February 6, 2024 in Moscow, Russia.
Speaking about the Russian military through an interpreter, Putin said: “We are now ahead of the United States and other countries in terms of developing hypersonic attack systems.” And we are improving them every day. ”
Regarding the agreement over the war in Ukraine, President Putin said: “We are ready to negotiate.”
He added: “It’s the West, and Ukraine is obviously a satellite state of the United States. That’s clear. I don’t want it to come across as if I’m asking for strong words or insults. But we’re two people. I understand what’s going on.”
Putin added: “If you really want to stop fighting, you need to stop supplying weapons. It will be over in a few weeks. That’s it. Then you can agree to some conditions before you do so. You can do it, just don’t do it.”
