A new AI-generated image trend on social media, known as #DignifAI, is turning the tables on deepfake porn by adding clothing to scantily clad photos of women to create images that appear more modest. I reversed it. This trend has spread to men as well, removing facial tattoos and creating an image of celebrities as clean-cut socialites.
The trend started on the website 4chan and then spread to other social media platforms under the hashtag #DignifAI.
“There’s something really deep about this image,” one 4chan user wrote in the photo’s caption. “It’s like a visual synthesis of everything that’s been lost, and it’s a meme in the truest sense of the word.”

“I feel that if it evokes such feelings in me, its effect must be many times greater for the target audience. And that’s why it’s getting such a visceral response. I think that’s the reason,” the 4chan user added.

These “regal” AI-generated photos are very different from the “nude” AI images typically created by users of artificial intelligence tools.
