Drug gang busted for killing, dismembering five in Cancun

Six drug gang members were arrested Monday in the Mexican tourist town of Cancun on suspicion of killing and dismembering five people with machetes and burying the remaining three in shallow graves, prosecutors said.

The Quintana Roo Attorney General’s Office identified the six adult males arrested as Cristian N., Yovani N., Pablo N., Raul N., Ernesto Alonso N., and Rosario N.

The men were taken into custody along with two minors, whose names have not been released.
