The chief said there was no “hit list” for the suspect, but based on interviews about his social interactions with students, police narrowed down Villasenor’s target victims to five students in Ontario. He said he believed he was “considering” a sixth victim.
Lorenz said investigators determined that Villasenor was not “bullied or harassed,” but did have difficulty “forming relationships and social interactions with other students.”
Lorenz said investigators believe Villasenor may be planning the shooting around April 20, the anniversary of the 1999 Columbine High School shooting in Colorado that killed 15 people, including two gunmen. He said he was thinking about it.
