Two elementary school sisters were among nearly 20 people injured in a shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade earlier this week, family and friends said.

Officials with St. Agnes Catholic Parish, which oversees the school, said the sisters underwent surgery at Children’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday night and are now recovering.
