Podcast host Joe Rogan speculated that Democrats are preparing to swap the ticket for the 2024 presidential election with President Biden and California Governor Gavin Newsom.
Questions about Mr. Biden’s mental acuity have been plaguing him since before he took office, but those concerns reached a climax with the release of a report by special counsel Robert Hur, which found that Mr. He was described as a “sympathetic and well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.” ”
“Basically, we can’t indict this guy, because he’s not a criminal. But we can run for president of the United States in November…so that’s why we managed to get in. It’s the world,” said Logan guest and podcast host Chris Williamson.
“Don’t you think it’s a ruse that he’s running for president?” Logan asked, later interjecting. That’s what I think. ”
Rogan continued, “If I had to guess, and it’s just speculation, I think they have Gavin Newsom lined up for that.”
He went on to say that in addition to earning the well-paid “emeritus” title of Benjamin Franklin Professor of Presidential Practice, Biden’s controversies range from debates about his mental acuity to his alleged involvement with Burisma. He said it was attracting “increasingly” attention. at the University of Pennsylvania.
But even in the emeritus position, Biden earned about $900,000 after giving only about a dozen lectures and speeches and never teaching a single semester of classes. Mr. Biden also did not conduct any research or assume any management responsibility for the agency.
Logan also noted how the university, which is home to Biden’s think tank, recently received funding from sources affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party.
Logan derided UPenn’s position as a “million-dollar-a-year job where you don’t even have to show up,” and joked that it’s “old-fashioned, Mafia-like.” He described it as a kind of “mob job” where someone is given a job without a job as part of a larger negotiation, particularly when organized crime groups work with sanitation and construction companies to raise money. He explained that this is true when it comes to cooperation.
Logan went on to argue that the whole situation would be more humorous if Biden wasn’t actually president, saying, “He makes things up, calls people by the wrong name, talks about people who have died. , and this continues continuously.”
Rogan and his guests mocked Biden’s very specific cue card notes and micromanaged his public words and actions. Logan said, “It’s amazing…When he starts talking about things, he can’t keep the thoughts in his head and he always forgets what he’s talking about and goes, “Well, whatever.” I just say, “Well, whatever.” “And just drifting away.”
Williamson recalled Biden’s emergency press conference after the release of the Hur report, in which he insisted it was not a “particularly good idea.”
“How was it?” Logan asked.
“I don’t think it’s optimal,” Williamson replied, drawing a laugh from Logan.
