A Quinnipiac poll on Wednesday found that a whopping 67% of voters think President Joe Biden, an 81-year-old “elderly man with a poor memory,” is too old to serve a second term.
The poll highlighted questions Democrats have raised about whether Biden should back out and allow another candidate to become the Democratic nominee.
The poll also found that 31% think Biden is not old enough to serve another four years in office.
The survey asked voters whether Biden has the physical and mental fortitude to serve as president for a second term.
- Physical fitness: 35% said yes, 62% said no
- Mental fitness: 34% said yes, 64% said no
poll sampled 1,421 self-identified registered voters from February 15 to 19, 2024. The error is ± 2.6%.
Special Counsel Robert Hur recently described the president as an “old man with a bad memory” in his report on the Biden classified documents scandal.
Hoare also said Biden is not competent to stand trial for exfiltrating classified documents. Hoar said he can’t remember simple facts about his life, such as when Biden was vice president or when his son Beau died.
Establishment media figures have claimed that the president’s health condition is “serious” and that any speculation to the contrary is “age discrimination” and a conspiracy theory by “right-wing media,” and that Biden has a “deteriorating memory.” defended.
