Country Star Willie Nelson’s Son Robbed of All Musical Equipment in Seattle Ahead of Concert

Lukas Nelson, the son of legendary country star Willie Nelson, said all of his music equipment was stolen just before he and his band were scheduled to perform a concert in Seattle, Washington on Tuesday.

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, singer of the band Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, wrote: “Bad news: Last night, a truck with all of its equipment left a hotel near Seattle.” It was stolen,” he told his approximately 300,000 Instagram followers.

“I’ve got all the rental gear and I’m going to play a show tonight, but if you live in the Seattle area and have heard of any guitars that are being pawned or sold, please contact me if you have my 1956 Les Paul Junior, my ’64 335, and custom guitars. All the Nacho Teles are there,” Nelson added.

“We have a lot of other equipment,” the singer said, adding that other equipment included a bass guitar and a steel guitar.

The singer then posted an update in the caption of her Instagram post, writing, “Item found. Thank you everyone for your help!”

“They found the truck,” Nelson said in a new video posted to his Instagram account. “All the valuable instruments that were there are still there.”

The singer said police found the truck “very quickly,” adding that some items were missing, but all missing equipment could be replaced.

“There are still things out there that can’t be replicated,” Nelson said. “I’m so grateful to this community for helping me.”

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real are currently on tour, with a concert scheduled for Wednesday night in Portland, Oregon.

The Democratic-controlled city of Seattle has reportedly seen a spike in crimes related to vehicle and property theft.
