Three pressing questions Nets must answer in second half

Three questions about the Nets’ second half, which begins Thursday:

1. What is Kevin Ollie doing?

O’Ree is expected to receive his due recognition in the summer, regardless of concerns about extending his interim contract so soon after the sacking of manager Jacque Vaughan.

Can he make enough positive changes to the offense, defense and rotation to earn a regular spot?

2. Can the Nets stop their downward spiral?

Nets interim coach Kevin Ollie is also expected to receive long-term consideration from the team in the offseason. Michael Nagle, New York Post

They have dropped 23 of 31 games, including a blowout loss by 50 points in the last game when Mikal Bridges expressed his displeasure.

They need to fix the atmosphere to attract free agents and keep their own, such as Nic Claxton.

3. Can Ben Simmons finally stay healthy?

Without him they’re just 15-27, but with him they’re definitely .500.

However, due to repeated injuries, he was limited to just 12 games before the All-Star break, making him the biggest X-factor for the remaining games.
