According to the Memphis Police Department, on December 1, 2023, a 13-year-old boy and his 7-year-old brother were waiting at a bus stop to go to middle school when 25-year-old Rinya Chris pulled the 7-year-old boy into her car. It is said that the train stopped at . -eldest son, WHBQ TV reported.
Police told the station that Chris wanted his son to fight the boy’s 13-year-old brother.

Chris was booked into the Shelby County Jail on Wednesday on charges of assault/bodily harm, child abuse and neglect, according to jail records. WHBQ said the charges are misdemeanors.
According to WREG, Chris is scheduled to go to trial on Thursday. She posted $5,000 bail Thursday, according to jail records.
