Firefighters find man bludgeoned to death, his son naked and acting erratically at house fire in California

California firefighters responding to a house fire said: found a dead person There were signs of being beaten, and my son was naked and acting strangely.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters found a man who had been beaten in the backyard of a home. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was also found at his home and treated at the hospital for smoke inhalation and burns.

Fire Department Capt. Eric Scott said, “The cause of the fire remains under active investigation.” “We have dispatched arson investigators in accordance with protocol. They will comb through the rubble, examine burn marks, speak to witnesses and determine exactly what started this deadly fire. We are working very closely with the Los Angeles Police Department to ensure this.”

Neighbors said they believed an argument between the son and father led to the fatal accident. Neither man has been identified by law enforcement. An autopsy will determine whether the father died from the beating or the fire.

Firefighters said it took about 23 minutes to extinguish the fire.

Tujunga is a neighborhood of approximately 26,000 residents in the San Gabriel Valley.
