A Detroit couple has been charged with breeding a dangerous animal resulting in death after authorities say their three dogs fatally injured a 35-year-old man.
The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office announced Wednesday that Roy Goodman, 40, was arraigned in 36th District Court.
The court entered a plea of not guilty, according to court records.

Goodman’s wife, Trevina Goodman, 38, will be arraigned at a later date, prosecutors said.
The dogs allegedly attacked Harold Phillips on Jan. 29 after escaping through the unsecured front gate of his west side home. Phillips died at the hospital on February 2nd.

Phillips, a father of six, was walking home from the bus stop when he was attacked, said his wife, Shawntay Phillips.
Roy Goodman was granted $25,000 bail Wednesday. His probable cause conference is scheduled for March 6, followed by a preliminary hearing on March 13.
