Jake Paul predicted a second round knockout Saturday night, but he was too generous.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer scored a one-round victory over Ryan Borland in Puerto Rico on Saturday night (a victory that took exactly under six minutes).
Paul clearly wanted to attack early and settle the situation with a hard shot to the ribs, but Borland’s left side was clearly red after the blow.

But soon after, Paul took it a step further and shoved Borland in the face, leaving the former Golden Glove champion stunned.
Borland couldn’t even return the jab and went into self-defense mode. But that wasn’t enough.
Paul backed into a corner and threw a bale of hay at him, causing the referee to call the match over. The battle lasted only 2 minutes and 37 seconds.
“I wanted it to be a little longer to give the fans a little more time,” he admitted after the game.

Paul told Fox News Digital earlier this week that he was “upset” that his last fight also went less than one round.
Paul calls himself “the face of the sport” and rhetorically asks, “Who has contributed more to boxing than me?”
He’ll probably admit he’s not the best yet, but he still named players that fall into that category.
“Hey, Canelo, stop faking it. I know that’s what you want,” he said, firing at current WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO champion Canelo Alvarez.

It was Paul’s ninth win in 10 professional fights, his last two both coming against fellow boxers after fights against mixed martial artists like Nate Diaz and Anderson Silva. Ta. His only loss was to Tommy Fury, Tyson’s younger brother.
