While some people may go to a church or chapel for their wedding, one couple decided to go to the bathroom at a local gas station for their wedding.
“I think so,” Rogen Abney and Tiana Aristoc said on Valentine’s Day inside the men’s room at their local HOP Shop in Verona, Kentucky.

“I wanted something a little different,” she told FOX Carolina.
“I didn’t want to just have a wedding in a typical chapel, and I didn’t want to go to church. I wanted to give my kids something fun. Something fun. It was a good experience.”

According to the news organization, Aristoc started brainstorming and after sharing her ideas with her boss, decided that the perfect place to get married was in a disco-centric bathroom.

“We unexpectedly decided to get married in the bathroom of a discotheque. It started as a joke between me and one of my bosses. We were like, ‘Well, what do you think?'” Also explained to me. The situation started in a way that we couldn’t,” Aristoc told FOX News Digital.

Aristoc and Abney entered the men’s room in their wedding attire, surrounded by friends and family who filled the hallway.

The bathroom may seem like an unconventional place, but a Kentucky bride and her fiancé weren’t afraid to do something unique.
“I thought, sure, it’s going to be a little weird, but it’s also cool, because like I said, ‘You know what, it’s like a gas station toilet where you press a button and the disco lights come on.’ I’ve never been to one,”’ Rogen told FOX Carolina after discussing the idea with Aristoc.

Although the wedding ceremony, held in an unusual location, drew mixed reviews from outsiders, the happy couple say they have no regrets and are enjoying the beginning of their married life.
