Joe Biden is not respected by world leaders.

His foreign policy was a huge failure.

Joe Biden appeared on MSNBC and attempted to draw a line under the Israeli government.

The red line was a response to possible military operations in Rafah.

Axios reported:

President Biden said in an interview on MSNBC on Saturday that there are “red lines” that should not be crossed when it comes to the war in Gaza. “We cannot allow another 30,000 Palestinians to die as a result of pursuing (Hamas). There are other ways to deal with Hamas,” he said.

Why it matters: This is the first time since the Oct. 7 attack on Hamas that Biden has said there is a “red line” to Israeli military operations in Gaza.

Biden’s comments in the interview are another sign that the president’s patience with Netanyahu’s government is wearing thin.

The president made the “red lines that should not be crossed” comment in response to a question about a possible military operation in Rafah, which the administration has expressed serious concerns about.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends to fight back.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said. “We’re going there. We’re not going to leave them. You know, there’s a red line. Do you know what the red line is? That October 7th will never happen again. It won’t happen again. do not have.”

Politico reported:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presses ahead with invasion of Rafah city on Gaza Strip’s southern border, defying US President Joe Biden, who warned that such an attack was a “red line that should not be crossed” He said he intended to do so.

Relief groups have warned that an attack on Rafah, on the Egyptian border, where about half of the Gaza Strip’s 2.3 million people have now fled, would result in widespread civilian casualties. German Foreign Minister Annalena Verbock said this would be a “humanitarian catastrophe”.

Asked on Sunday whether Israeli troops would move into Rafah, Prime Minister Netanyahu said: We have no intention of leaving them. You know, there’s a red line. Do you know what the red line is? That October 7th will never happen again. It won’t happen again. ” The prime minister was referring to the brutal Hamas attack that killed more than 1,160 people in Israel and sparked a war.

Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed, without naming names, that he had received tacit support from several Arab leaders to advance his onslaught against Hamas.

“They understand it and even tacitly agree to it,” he said in an interview with Axel Springer, POLITICO’s parent company. “They understand that Hamas is part of the Iranian axis of terror.”
