The last big running back domino has fallen.
After a whirlwind 24-hour game of musical chairs, Derrick Henry signed with the Ravens on Tuesday on a two-year, $16 million deal, including $9 million guaranteed in 2024, according to multiple reports.
The contract value is up to $20 million.
“Flock Nation, it’s okay now!” 💪🏾,” Henry wrote to X after news of the signing broke.
Henry, 30, spent his first eight seasons in the NFL with the Titans, becoming one of the league’s best backs with 8,268 yards and 80 touchdowns over the past six seasons.
The four-time Pro Bowler has plenty of mileage, leading the league in carries in four of the last five seasons, but he’s a perfect fit for the Ravens’ offense, which has found success with countless other running runners. There is a possibility that it is. The Bucks haven’t been as talented as Henry in recent years.
After J.K. Dobbins suffered a season-ending injury in Week 1, Gus Edwards took on most of the load in the backfield, rushing for 810 yards and 13 touchdowns. Keaton Mitchell, Justice Hill and Melvin Gordon are other running backs who received minutes.

Lamar Jackson, of course, led the way with 821 yards rushing en route to his second NFL MVP award.
The Titans have signed Tony Pollard to a three-year, $24 million contract to replace Henry.
