Joe Biden’s border policies have created a crisis.
He reversed that policy as soon as President Donald Trump took office, and the American people are paying the price.
On Wednesday, House Democrats joined Republicans in voting in favor of a resolution condemning Joe Biden’s border policies.
On Tuesday, more than a dozen House Democrats joined Republicans in voting to support a resolution condemning President Biden’s border policies, increasing pressure on the president to focus on key issues for the 2024 campaign.
The bill, sponsored by Rep. Monica de la Cruz (R-Texas), accuses Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas of creating “the worst border security crisis in the nation’s history,” and says the president “Systematically dismantling effective border security measures and domestic immigration enforcement officials.”
It also said that Biden had “deliberately violated U.S. immigration laws” and promoted an “open border policy.”
The resolution passed in the House of Representatives by a vote of 226 to 193, with 13 members not participating. A total of 14 Democrats voted to pass the bill.
