Trump Caused ‘Million of Bodies on the Ground Due to Covid’

MSNBC anchor Joy Reid said on her show “The ReidOut” on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump is responsible for “a million bodies on the ground from coronavirus.”

“As of last night, Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden are officially the party’s presumptive nominees. So we look at these candidates, their track records, their accomplishments, and what we face. And, yes, how they view the safety and well-being of each American. Also, because both have served as president, we need to look carefully at the choices they make. And, yes, how they view the safety and well-being of each American. We are in a unique position to evaluate people. Rather than voting based on their promises, we can compare their actual presidencies.”

she continued. “Four years of chaotic and frankly crazy tweets, immigrant children being torn from their parents’ arms, random fights with allies, and a million people scattered on the ground because of COVID-19. Bodies, which era would you like to relive? Bodies were piled into refrigerated trucks as hospitals ran out of space. States fought over ventilators. Elderly people died alone, people said goodbye on iPads, and the economy literally crashed. Will it collapse and we’re all stuck at home for a year? Kids having to graduate high school and college on Zoom? Or the Biden era with an older president. Yes, some of his methods and policies. was infuriating. But at least he’s a sane adult who can persuade people of his policies and push for change. Serious question. Who thinks it’s a good idea to relive the Trump era? , or does anyone think America will survive?”

Reid added, “Trump didn’t want to deal with a public health disaster. He didn’t want to take responsibility and he didn’t want to receive bad publicity. Advised by a snake oil salesman, he spent months pushing to understand the science. He mainstreamed the anti-vaccination movement, which is gaining so much momentum today, that we are no longer vaccinated. We are facing an outbreak of measles among untreated children.”
