Former MSNBC bomb thrower Keith Olbermann is under fire after posting on social media an explicit hope that Donald Trump would be assassinated.
The strident far-leftist jumped onto his X account on Saturday and responded to a post from Joe Biden’s campaign that featured a video of part of President Trump’s recent speech in Dayton, Ohio.
The video was posted by Biden-Harris Headquarters with the caption, “President Trump says he has been treated worse than the assassinated Abraham Lincoln.”
Olbermann replied, “There is always hope.”

Left-wing screedists quickly came under fire for their replies to posts calling for the assassination of people with whom they politically disagree.
Please ask for help.

You know that calling for the assassination of a political opponent makes you the bad guy, right? pic.twitter.com/z7KU8Iuhkg

At the very least, this is a TOS violation. @safety @support
perhaps @secret Service You should visit Keith. Everyone knows that Keith is mentally unstable.

My disappointment. Did he really say that? I hate a lot of people, but I would never wish them dead.

Mr. Olbermann has gotten into a lot of trouble for his left-wing, drool-worthy social media posts.
Last September, he came under fire for calling liberal HBO host Bill Maher a “scumbag” for opposing the Hollywood writers’ strike.
In August, he made himself look incredibly small by telling champion swimmer Riley Gaines that he was “not good at” swimming.
And last February, blue states called on red states to start an “economic civil war.”
